Vacancy: Forklift Driver (Fulltime)
Are you an experienced forklift driver looking for a job with the prospect of year-round work? For a client in the logistics sector, we are looking for a motivated and responsible person who can hold his or her own in a dynamic work environment.
What are you going to do?
As a forklift driver, you are responsible for the safe and damage-free loading and unloading of goods. You collect cargo from the warehouse and other loading locations and carefully put it away. You work closely with the foreman or warehouse manager and contribute to a smooth running logistics process.
Your tasks:
- Safe and efficient operation of a forklift truck (3 to 45 tons);
- Processing orders in a neat and organized manner;
- Carefully leaving work materials behind after your shift;
- Compliance with safety rules and terminal regulations;
- Identifying and reporting damage, risks and incidents;
- Correct use of PPE, including safety shoes and reflective clothing.
What do we ask of you?
- Demonstrable experience as a forklift driver;
- Valid forklift certificate;
- Good command of the English language (speaking and reading);
- Sense of responsibility and an eye for safety;
- Flexible and customer-friendly;
- Own transportation to get to location;
- Experience with reach stacker or crane? That's a nice plus!
