Are you a techie at heart and looking for a job where no two days are the same? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to keep our systems in top condition for a modern greenhouse horticulture company in the Franeker region. This is a long-term position where you can work independently while also being part of a close-knit team.
What are you going to do?
As a maintenance technician, you ensure that all technical installations and equipment continue to run optimally. Your responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and assessing installations and assets.
- Carrying out maintenance and (emergency) repairs.
- Welding (electric and autogenous), bench and sheet metal work, and simple turning and drilling work.
- Thinking about improvements and adjustments to installations.
- Assisting in testing and commissioning new equipment.
- Ensure a clean and safe workplace.
What are you bringing?
- A technical background, preferably mechanical engineering.
- Experience with welding and metalworking is an advantage.
- You work accurately, think in solutions and take responsibility.
- Basic knowledge of English is useful, given the international context of the sector.
- You enjoy working independently as well as in consultation with colleagues.
