We are looking for a candidate for our client Warehouse Employee.
The organization supplies a diverse range of cheeses and dairy products to industry, retail, and trade—from kilos to tons. The organization is growing and professionalizing, making a well-organized warehouse essential.
Due to continued growth and increasing order flows, they are expanding their shipping.
Your position
As a Warehouse Employee, you'll ensure that goods are picked, stored, and prepared for shipment safely and correctly. You'll work closely with colleagues and follow the instructions of the order picking system and the team leader.
Your duties will include order picking, forklift work and support with receiving and storing goods.
What are you going to do?
- Collect orders and prepare them for shipment using the order picking system.
- Collecting goods with (electric) pallet trucks and scanning including weights.
- Stack goods on pallets according to safety guidelines and check for product deviations.
- Place pallets in the correct shipping locations, record quantities and items, and print and attach labels.
- Assist with loading trucks, replenishing order picker locations, performing inventory counts, cleaning the work area, and charging pallet truck batteries.
- Unload trucks, check receipts and report deviations.
- Store goods, carry out internal transports and replenish inventory locations in a timely manner.
- Check, register and deliver goods and packaging materials to the correct departments.
- Monitor inventory by performing counts and reporting deviations.
Who are you?
- You have experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- You work carefully, in a structured manner and safely.
- You are good at working with scanners and computer systems.
- You are physically able to perform warehouse work and function well in a team.
- You speak Dutch or English
- Driving license B
