Wtta: New law changes the rules for the temporary employment sector

27 - 05 - 2025

The House of Representatives has approved the Act on the Admission of Personnel (Wtta). This act obliges employment agencies and other parties that lend out personnel to be officially admitted. Clients (hirers) will also soon only be allowed to work with agencies that have been admitted. Failure to do so may result in fines.

The law is intended to combat abuses and gain more control over the temporary employment sector, but it also raises questions. For example, there are concerns about the impact on smaller providers and the level playing field. During the vote, several adjustments were therefore already made, including exceptions for SW companies, BBL trajectories and the security sector.

There is no exact implementation date yet, but it is expected soon. It is therefore important to remain alert as a client and only work with certified parties in the future. Mondial Uitzend belongs to this category and is happy to help you now and in the future.
