Do you enjoy varied work and do you like taking responsibility?
In this role, you will work in the middle of the flower bulb season on sorting, logistics, machine processes, and inventory management. No two days are the same: one moment you are managing the process in the warehouse, the next you are arranging preparations or working with colleagues on maintenance and planning.
What are you going to do?
As a barn worker, you are versatile and can be deployed throughout the entire process:
- Controlling processes during the season (such as sorting and processing lines)
- Operating a forklift (or learning to do so)
- Maintenance and preparatory work in the low season
- Occasional work in the fields (such as checking for disease)
- Supervising inspections
- Inventory management and accurate recording
- Setting up and installing machines for production processes
- Maintain contact with another location
- Working with tablets and scanners for registration and process monitoring
What do we expect from you?
- You are flexible and enjoy taking on various tasks.
- You speak Dutch and can make yourself understood in English.
- You can manage a group of temporary workers or want to learn how to do so.
- You are eager to learn and open to training and development.
- You work well together in a small team and help colleagues where necessary.
- You have a B driving license.
- You can work with a tablet and scanner.
Pre:
- Knowledge of or affinity with flower bulbs (tulip, hyacinth, calla)
