For a great client in the Schagen region, we are looking for an experienced crane operator who wants to help build challenging projects in civil engineering, road construction, and hydraulic engineering.
As a crane operator, you play an important role within the execution team. You ensure that excavation work is carried out safely, accurately, and on schedule. With your experience and expertise, you work on diverse infrastructure projects, where no two days are the same.
What are you going to do?
As a crane operator, you are responsible for, among other things:
- Operating a (crawler) excavator at various infrastructure and earthworks;
- Excavating trenches for cables and pipes;
- The careful movement of soil, materials, and other components on the project;
- Preparing and finishing sites for construction;
- Collaborating with groundworkers and other colleagues on the construction site;
- Performing checks and minor maintenance on the machine;
- Performing work safely and neatly in accordance with the applicable guidelines.
You are not just a machine operator, but also part of the team. Together, you ensure that every project is successfully completed.
What are you bringing?
We are looking for a crane operator who:
- Has experience working on an excavator;
- Has technical insight and works carefully;
- Has an affinity with earthworks, cabling, and pipelines;
- considers safety important and works accurately;
- Enjoys working with colleagues;
- Is in possession of a B driving license;
- Preferably holds a VCA certificate.
